NZ Champion Ngawhetu Empire Edition - Hakipa
Hakipa sparked some interest when he was only day's old. His fawn colour was very different from his litter mates. A perfect set tail, great movement and a personality to top off his perfect charm. Haki entered the ring as Baby Puppy in October 2015 and has proven to do very well in the ring. We look forward to when Haki matures into an adult.
Haki will be available for stud to sound, registered and breed standard bitches only.

NZ Champion BullyK First Lady - Lexus
Lexus originally bred by BullyK Kennels of Kawerau is the first daughter to Dodge (NZ Champion Canute Jack Daniels). Lexus entered the show ring in 2017 and is already on her way to gaining her Champion status which we hope to achieve by end of Winter 2018. Lexus is a white girl who moves with pure grace and flexibility, a fresh of breath air and will do very well once she has fully matured. Lexus is a nice sound bitch who is not over done in any way.
NZ CH Ngawhetu Te Hareruia - Major
In March 2022 we lost a very close and dear friend - Te Hareruia "HARE" to cancer at the young age of 43. Major was named after our dear friend Hare.
Major is a red & white male with overall soundness, wonderful eyes, great head, just enough length in leg and for his size has wonderful movement. Major has had some wonderful wins recently as he matures. We look forward to his future in the ring.
NZ CH Ngawhetu Days Like These - "Daisy"
Daisy, sister to Major. Brindle & White girl. Daisy has matured with age in her short few months thus far. An overall sound girl, again with great movement.
We hope to have a little from Daisy in 2024 - definitely be a space to watch.

BISS NZ Ch Lechien Te Mauri Ora Ki Ngawhetu - Chief
Chief joined us from LeChien Kennels (Sue & Albert Tahere - Pio Pio) in February 2019 as part of the show team. Chief is a brindle pied, he has great bone and a strong personality.
Chief was introduced to the show ring at 3 months old and has already made an impact taking out Best of Breed status at only 5 months old against some of NZ's best French Bulldogs.
In 2 years of Chief being in the show ring he has demanded the attention of judges all over the country and also international judges with his presence. Chief gained his NZ Championship status only 2 days after his 1st birthday and BISS status when he won his first Best In Speciality Show at 20 months of age.
Chief has to date won many Best of Breed and age group levels, best of group, and best in speciality show. , .
Ngawhetu Tamatu - Tama
Tama is nephew to Chief. A right firecracker and an explosion of excitement.
A dark brindle with white chest, he screams athleticism, muscles and a breath of fresh air. Clean tidy head, great top line, and fantastic reach while on the move.
Tama has not been a great fan of the show ring, even though he does make appearances from time to time. He's always up to mischief but loves playing with his best mate Rage the Akita.
LeChien Kia Rite Ki Ngawhetu - Luke
Little Luke as he was the smallest in his litter, son to Tama. Luke is one of four siblings in the show ring and the brothers are all doing well. Luke has even brindle markings, sound head set on a muscular body. Luke loves to play fetch and if allowed will destroy toys in a matter of minutes.
Luke in his very first show weekend in Manawatu won 4 Baby of Groups and a Baby Puppy In Show. We believe this boy will have a great show future along the side of his brothers and sister.
=== PUG ===
GANGSTERS THE REAL SLIM SLADY - Marshall
When Tom approached Tanya Dowd (Gangster Pugs) he was keen to get a little couch buddy of his own, and it had to be a Gangster.
We were very humbled and honored to have Marshall join our team in late 2022. Marshall became a huge part of everyday life and everything we did.
Marshall was also introduced to the Toy Ring at 4 months of age, he's enjoyed every minute of it and often guiding Mum around the ring. He has had limited showing but still joins us for every trip.
In Marshalls very limited showing, he has already won a Reserve Best in Show at the Auckland Pug Speciality and picked up his first points to gaining his NZ Championship status.

Centaine TNT Ki Ngawhetu - Rage
When Rage was 8 weeks he came to join us originally as a guard dog, as he was registered we asked if we could take him to the ring and WOW... was he doing amazing.
At 10 months old he won Best In Show at CHB Open Show. He continued on to win many Baby Puppy and Puppy of Groups and In Shows.
Rage enjoys life on the farm with his bulldog and french bulldog buddies. One day we will look forward to bringing Rage back to the ring and also to Rage's progeny hitting the ring.
=== BASSET HOUND ===
NZ Champion Bayparque Riciarelli - Harper
For years I have always wanted to own and love my very own Basset Hound. I first laid my eyes on some pedigree Bassets in 2009 at a local dog show, I was in awe and head over heels in love. Patiently after 8 years we expressed our interested to the experienced breeders of Bayparque Kennels (Tirua) and was chosen to adopt our very own Tri Coloured girl "Harper".
Harper has been an absolute breath of fresh air and I have enjoyed learning with her as she teaches me about Hounds. We look forward to our life with this beautiful girl and are so grateful to Bayparque for allowing us to be Harpers hooonman parents.
Harper first hit the show ring in October 2017 as a Baby Puppy and has been a strong prensence from day one!
